Dreamers Markets (“Dreamers Markets,” “we,” “us”) operates the online marketplace at shop.dreamersmarkets.com and the Dreamers Markets Shop mobile app, where independent makers list and sell their own products. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@dreamersmarkets.com.

Information we collect

• You give us: name, email, shipping and billing address, order details, account credentials, the makers you follow or favorite, and messages you send us.
• Payment information: card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — we receive limited details (such as confirmation, the last four digits, and billing ZIP) needed to manage your order.
• Collected automatically: basic technical data needed to operate the site, such as your sign-in session. Your cart, saved favorites and cookie choice are kept in your own browser’s storage. We also collect usage data through Google Analytics as described under Cookies and analytics.

How we use your information

• Process, fulfill, and support your orders, returns, and refunds.
• Operate your account and the maker follow/favorite features.
• Send transactional email about your orders — an order confirmation, shipping and tracking updates, and refund confirmations. We do not send marketing email from the marketplace.
• If you choose to follow a maker (for example from the QR code at their booth), email you about that maker — such as when they’ll be at an upcoming market or have restocked. Ask us to stop anytime at hello@dreamersmarkets.com.
• Prevent fraud, secure the service, and meet legal and tax obligations.
• Understand and improve how the marketplace performs.

How we share your information

• Independent makers: to fulfill your order, the relevant maker receives the information needed to ship it (such as your name, shipping address, and the items ordered).
• Service providers, each acting on our behalf:
  • Stripe — payment processing and checkout (card, billing and shipping details), and sales-tax calculation;
  • Postmark — delivery of our order emails;
  • Vercel — website hosting and product-image storage;
  • our database hosting provider — storage of account and order records;
  • Google (Google Analytics) — site usage measurement, as described below;
  • Expo, Apple and Google — delivery of mobile-app push notifications, and Sign in with Apple / Google if you use it;
  • shipping carriers — to deliver your order.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the marketplace.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and analytics

Necessary: we use cookies and browser storage the site needs to work — for example your sign-in session, your cart and saved favorites, and your cookie choice.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC): we measure how the shop is used with Google Analytics, using Google Consent Mode. The Google tag (gtag.js) loads on every page. Before you make a choice — and if you decline — it sends Google limited, cookieless signals (for example that a page was viewed), without setting analytics cookies. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you choose Accept on our cookie banner. Advertising features are always off: ad storage, ad-user-data and ad personalization signals are set to denied, and we ask Google to anonymize IP addresses.

Your choice is remembered in your browser. To change it, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will ask again. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary ones may affect how the site works.

The Dreamers Markets Shop app

If you use our mobile app, it works like the website, plus:

• Sign in with Apple or Google (optional): if you create an account, we receive your name and email address from Apple or Google (Apple may give us a private relay address instead). Your sign-in session is stored in your device’s secure storage.
• Checkout: the app sends us your cart, the email you enter and, when a maker’s shipping rate depends on it, your state. Payment, billing and shipping details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout page.
• Order history: the app keeps your order numbers and the email used for them on your device so you can look your orders up. If you’re signed in, we show your order history from our records.
• Favorites and follows: favorites are saved on your device, and synced to your account if you’re signed in. Following a maker stores your email and that maker.
• Push notifications (optional): if you allow notifications, the app sends us a push token (an identifier for your device’s notification channel) with your order, so we can tell you when it ships. Notifications are delivered through Expo’s push service and Apple Push Notification service or Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can turn them off anytime in your device settings.
• The app contains no advertising, and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Deleting your account

In the app, go to Account → Delete account. This deletes your account and its synced favorites. You can also email hello@dreamersmarkets.com from the address on your account to ask us to delete it. We keep order records (the order, its items and the email it was placed with) as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we hold, to request a copy, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share it). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email hello@dreamersmarkets.com — we may need to verify your identity first.

Data retention & security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information; payment data is handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The marketplace is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above, and material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
