Dreamers Markets (“Dreamers Markets,” “we,” “us”) operates the online marketplace at shop.dreamersmarkets.com, where independent makers list and sell their own products. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@dreamersmarkets.com.
Information we collect
- You give us: name, email, shipping and billing address, order details, account credentials, the makers you follow or favorite, and messages you send us.
- Payment information: card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — we receive limited details (such as confirmation, the last four digits, and billing ZIP) needed to manage your order.
- Collected automatically: basic technical data needed to operate the site — such as your session and cart — kept in cookies that are necessary for the site to function.
How we use your information
- Process, fulfill, and support your orders, returns, and refunds.
- Operate your account and the maker follow/favorite features.
- Send order and service messages, and — if you opt in — occasional marketing email (unsubscribe anytime).
- Prevent fraud, secure the service, and meet legal and tax obligations.
- Understand and improve how the marketplace performs.
How we share your information
- Independent makers: to fulfill your order, the relevant maker receives the information needed to ship it (such as your name, shipping address, and the items ordered).
- Service providers: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Postmark), shipping carriers, and hosting — each acting on our behalf under contract.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the marketplace.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
We use only cookies that are necessary for the site to function (for example, your cart and sign-in). We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect how the site works.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we hold, to request a copy, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share it). Data retention & security
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information; payment data is handled by Stripe under PCI-DSS standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The marketplace is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above, and material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
